Note

  • The caution money deposited by a student if not claimed by him within one year of the ending of the session will lapse to the University.
  • Fee structure can be changed/modified by the University through notification.

 

Exemption in Tuition Fee:

The following categories of students are exempted from paying tuition fee.

  • Women students in undergraduate classes (In PG classes they will have to pay half tuition fee).
  • Students belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class.
  • Ex-servicemen or their dependents who have been disabled permanently and have settled in Rajasthan and from the dependents living in Rajasthan of those killed as a result of hostilities on Indian borders.
  • Children/wives of those Armed Force/Border Security Force or Armed Police Personnel belonging to Rajasthan who were killed in action or rendered permanent disabled during the hostilities on Indian borders, will not be charged tuition fee and other fee excluding fees deposited in students fund. The concession will also be admissible to the personnel themselves who were rendered permanently disabled and now desire to prosecute studies in University colleges.
  • Note: The above concession will be admissible to a student on production of ‘Entitlement Card’ from the Record Office of the Armed Force or Police Authorities to the Head of the Institution.
  • Children of non income tax paying employees of (a) the State Government (b) MPUAT (c) High Court and its subordinate courts (d) Panchayat Samiti & Zila Parishad and (e) Central Government posted in Rajasthan. (A student whose father is alive will not be considered dependent upon any other person. In case, however, the father is invalid, brother could be considered his guardian).
  • Teachers of this University doing Ph.D are also exempted from payment of laboratory fee.
  • Employees of this University/Govt. of Rajasthan who do not pay income tax.
  • Children belonging to families selected under I.R.D.P. scheme by the State Govt. will be exempted from the payment of tuition fee by the Vice-Chancellor on production of eligibility certificate from the competent authority.
  • Students claiming exemption in the above categories are required to submit necessary certificate from the competent authorities along with the admission form.
  • Students are advised to preserve all fee receipts paid to College with care on subsequent reference.
  • Tuition fee from students taking less than 9 credit hrs. in a semester after completion of the prescribed period of residential requirement will be charged at half the rate of the semester. Students taking 9 credits or more will pay full tuition fees. All other fees will be charged in full.
  • The exemption will be withdrawn if a student is detained for shortage in attendance or if he/she discontinues his/her studies or is found guilty of misbehaviour/ misconduct or on any criminal proceeding pending against him.

Refund of fee paid

  • Fee paid by a candidate on the provisional admission basis at the time of admission will be refunded to him in full, if admission is denied to him subsequently.
  • Students appearing in the final examination of semester will be provisionally admitted to the next semester if the result has not been declared before the beginning of the semester. Fee paid by such students, as declared fail in the final semester examination of the previous semester, will be refunded to the students and their admission and registration will be cancelled.
  • If a student get admission to more than one College of MPUAT and pays fee for more than one study programme, the college, where he does not join, will refund his fee, except the admission fee, on the production of a valid certificate from the other institution.
  • Fee once paid in cases other than given above will not be refunded.
  • Students are requested to preserve all receipts of fees paid in the college with care for subsequent reference.

Note:

Room rent, light charges and water charges will not be refunded on request if the student has not requested in writing within one month from the date of leaving hostel.

In case the session is extended (for any reason) hostel fee shall be charged from all hostellers for the extended period.

Students admitted to hostels at a later date shall be charged hostel rent in full for the month in which they join, irrespective of the date of joining.

  • All the students are supposed to deposit full fees at the time of admission. No fee will be allowed to deposit in instalments.
  • Hostel facilities to the Ex-students for the period required in completion of their courses will be allowed on the following terms and conditions:
    (a) Three times of ordinary room rent will be charged.
    (b) Light and water in addition to the room rent shall be charged as per rules.
    (c) All such students will have to obey general rules of the hostel.
  • Tuition fee will be charged in one instalment.
  • Fee once deposited will not be refunded.
  • The hostel fee to be charged from foreign students will be notified separately
