Dr. M. C. Jain was born on 12th December, 1969 and completed his secondary and higher secondary education from Govt.  Higher Secondary School Malpura (District Tonk). He did B.Sc.(Ag.) and M.Sc. in Horticulture from well-known SKN College of Agriculture, Jobner in 1991& 1994 respectively. He was a recipient of ICAR-Junior Research Fellowship and University Gold medal during Master Programme and pursued Ph.D. degree with specialization in fruit science from MPUAT, Udaipur in 2002-05 as an in-service candidate. He started his professional career as an Assistant Professor in Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner from14th May 1996. Further, he got selected as anAssociate Professor (Fruit Science) in 2004 and Professor in 2009 atCH&F, Jhalawar (MPUAT, Udaipur). He had beenOfficer Incharge of ARSS Khanpur (Jhalawar) from 2006 to 2012, Head Department of fruit science (CH&F Jhalawar) from 2011-2017,Director Students' Welfare, AU, Kota from 2013 to 2018, Technical Advisor to HVC, AU Kota from 2016 to 2018, Zonal Director Research, ARS Kotaduring 2018 - 2019 and 2021-22. He also acted as a Coordinator for State Level JET in 2019 and member of BOM, AU, Kota2020 to 2022 and AU, Jodhpur from 2021 till date.Presently,he is working as Dean & Faculty Chairman at College of Agriculture, Kota (AU, Kota) since May 2018 till date.
